Splashdown is getting smarter - a new intelligent wristband the Ui-Time and Ui-Band system, was introduced in the late Spring 08. Designed for Splashdown by Bristol based company Access Point Controls.
The Ui-Time system has been designed to increase safety on the rides, control queues and visitor times as well as adding an enhancement to our visitor experience.
The Ui-Band Smart Band is able to calculate how many rides you have been on, how many metres you have ridden and will work out your "Fear Factor" based on each rides "Fear Factor" rating, to see whether you are a "Flume Legend" or an "Easy Rider" or something in between.
You can take home a souvenir certificate (charge applies) to remind you of the great time you had at Splashdown and see if your Fear Factor rating improves the next time you visit. Find out who has the greatest fear factor amongst your family and friends!
We need to make sure that we get our Smart Band (Ui-Bands) back and for this reason we will be charging a fully refundable deposit of GBP 2.00
We will be adding further features associated with the Ui-Band Smart Bands at a later stage that will improve the experience of our visitors to Splashdown.
